Inspirit AI Introduction— Using AI to Combat Fake News
Hi! I’m Andrew Shi, a sophomore at a high school in Shanghai, China. I enjoy playing basketball, gaming, and learning about AI. I’m studying AI because AI is becoming increasingly incorporated within our everyday lives and because AI was the next pathway I wanted to know about python.
I’m currently taking Inspirit AI’s eight-week online course about the various subsets of supervised machine learning. Instructor Raunak led part one on basic regression, natural language processing, computer vision, neural networks, and convolutional neural networks. Now, instructor Francesca is leading us in the research and creation of an AI that can classify a news article as either real or fake.
This blog will analyze the destructive consequences of fake news and how AI can recognize and fight fake news.
